That Cold Brew: A Cheat Recipe

Start to finish: 12 hours (inactive cooking time) and 20 minutes (active cooking time)

Servings: 6

Classes are now back in session! Except, this beginning of the semester is drastically different than the ones of the past due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. That means how students caffeinate themselves for that early morning class or finding a way to stay alert during the school day is going to look different.

Their day-to-day routines has changed because of it.

Not only do they have to worry about looking decent when they arrive to their in-person classes, they now must make sure they’re wearing a mask, and take the Daily Symptom Check Survey just to attend classes. They’re not going to have any time to stop by Starbucks or Dunkin’ just to handle all of the new responsibilities that they’re taking on.

There’s a hack for that by making coffee, especially cold brew, at home without having to use whole coffee beans and a grinder.

They don’t even have to be a barista!

All that is needed is quality ground coffee, filtered water, time and you’ll have a flavorful cup of cold brew that will fit into however you’re choosing to navigate college life or being a stressed-out adult during these uncertain times.
